Did You Know?

Google it and you will find many sites offering a “National arrest and criminal check” for $12.95. The only downside is that this search, like many others offered, does not exist…to anyone…regardless of the amount of money.

It is a myth.

What is being left out is that the records only include a couple states, partial dates, and in some cases serious felony convictions. There is no such source, except for the FBI’s NCIC and even that is terribly spotty and a serious crime to access. So, what is being offered is a national check and includes whatever is available nationally. It is a play on words.

In regards to any records, remember, there is a huge difference between No Record
and “No Record Found.”
